Where is the oil filter for 23 taos

The oil filter is on the front side of the engine, near the bottom. It's a black canister style filter positioned just above the plastic skid plate, but it's tucked up a little. If you're looking from underneath, you may need to remove the skid plate (held by T25 Torx screws) to access it easily. Some people manage to reach it without removing the plate, but it's a tight squeeze.

Not usually, most models have the oil filter pretty easy to spot once you get under the hood. Sometimes it's tucked away a bit, but with a quick look at the manual or a how to video, you'll find it no problem.

On the side of the engine block, usually accessible from underneath the vehicle. Its not too hard to find once you know its position, but having the car on a lift or ramps can make the job much easier, especially if you're doing a DIY oil change
