climate control issue '23 taos

Been loving my 2023 taos i got last year but I've got a frustrating issue with the climate control system. When I start the car, the climate controls sometimes don't respond. The buttons and touchscreen sliders either don't work at all or take several seconds to register inputs. The fan speed stays stuck, and I can't adjust the temperature or switch between vents. Strangely, the system isn't completely frozen because if I restart the car, it might work temporarily, but then the issue returns after 15–20 minutes of driving.
I've tried adjusting settings through the infotainment screen, but that doesn't help.
I have a dealer appointment tomorrow, so I'll update after that, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Climate control issues can have various causes, like failing circuit boards, worn wiring, or even physical damage to the control. Anyway, I'm curious about what the dealer says about this

Hey. Okay this is not an isolated issue so yes probably a lot of people here has had a similar problem because of some incompatible softare update or glitch, or the HVAC is defective. There must be problem with the wiring too because of the overheating problem. Since you got a dealer appointment that's good, you can have them look at a possible firmware update. Or if they find something much deeper they might even change the module or something.

modern cars are just computer on wheels so it could be a bug that the system has. weirdly enough, i haven't experienced this problem but mine is a 2024 model, so i don't know if it's the same or not
