Colision warnings

I'm new to all these fancy safety features in cars but theres something that a bit annoying about my taos. Sometimes it give me a collision warning even though the car in front is way too in front for the car to react. anyway i can tone down the drama or ill have to live with this?

Hmm, just so you know the default distance is set to far, so maybe that collision warning comes with that as a "preventive measure" or something. But yeah, there are plenty other factors you should check, probably your winshield is quite dirty? Or it's a new windshield. Needless to say you should make sure to recalibrate your camera because it might have been a problem from the start. Your dealer can help with that 100%.

Yeah, I've heard a lot about problems with collision warnings on new VWs. you have an early warning, my friend's new VW doesn't even have any warning lol. he took the car to the dealership and they said it's all normal

If I were you, I would check the manual first, just to understand the capabilities, or maybe there's a setting for this

Im sure you can disable that and go replace it with the aftermarket ones so you could choose what fits you

What they all said. But really you should definitely check the manual or maybe even go to the dealer for a quick walk through of features again.
