I have a 2024 Taos and i really like it but one thing that frustrates me is the apple carplay. it doesn't want to connect to my iphone 16 pro, it constantly says no device found. This is starting to get on my nerves so please help asap. Any suggestions?

i have a 2024 Jetta and my iphone16 Pro connects fine with CarPlay. Try using a different usb cable that supports data transfer. also check if CarPlay is allowed in your iphone settings under screen time. That might fix it. ;)

did you try the classic: have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again? 😂 try restarting both the phone and the infotainment system. hope this helps!

I've seen this problem posted here lately. A lot of it. And it's quite tiring to be honest as you can always go search the keyword if there's already a thread for it. It most likely needs a reset on either your phone or your infotainment.

Honestly I agree with you, same problem has been brought up multiple times and the solution often times is really simple

try to check if your phone is in Bluetooth mode, Wi-Fi also need to be turned on and set to autojoin the CarPlay network

If you're using a wired connection, try an Apple-certified cable. Also, make sure your phone and your car's software are up to date. You might want to remove the car from your iPhone's CarPlay settings and then reconnect it. That setup usually helps
